How to Generate More Leads With Your Contact Us Page

A contact page is much more that just adding your phone number and email address. This page should give the person on your website all the possible options they can contact your business.

The contact page should consist of 3 main sections:
1. Company address
2. Telephone and fax numbers
3. Contact form

If you are finding social networking is a benefit to your business, add your add your twitter and facebook details so prospects and customers can follow you.

You could also add an image to the page to brighten things up so it's not just all text. Be careful, don't add amateurish graphics like clip-art of phones, letters and postboxes - from the customer's perspective, it makes your site look dated and chips away at your business credibility

A Great Contact Form is a Powerful Tool for Generating Leads

On your website, you have the option to add a contact form to any of your pages which once submitted will go directly to your email address.

This is most useful on the contact page. It gives the person on your website a way to send you a message or ask a question quickly and easily without having to go through the process of writing a email. A little bit of explanatory text above the form would be useful to explain what will happen once the form is sent and received by you.

Another reason for the contact form is you do not need to display you email address as a link which could generate unwanted junk mail or spam being sent to your email address. It is your choice whether your email address is displayed on this page.
